GUEST VOCALISTS INCLUDE:
VANESSA RODRIGUEZ has performed as soprano soloist for “Handel’s Messiah”; “Bach Magnificat” and “Poulenc’s Gloria” locally. She debuted with Florida Opera Theater as Despina in “Cosi Fan Tutte”, March Of 2015. Other Opera Credits Include: Gretel in “Hansel & Gretel” (2013); Frasquita (Cover) in “Carmen” (2014) with Opera Tampa under the baton of noted Maestro Daniel Lipton; and Elsie Maynard in “Yeoman Of The Guard” with Winter Opera St. Louis (2015).
DIEGO SEBASTIAN IGLESIAS, is an Argentine Tenor and has sang in various concerts throughout Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, St. Petersburg and the Tampa Bay Area. He has performed at Colon Theater (Teatro Colon), Avenida Theater and Roma Theater and with Opera Tampa as well as the Spanish Lyric Theater. Also he sang with Bel Canto Opera Singers, in the Andrea Bocelli concert. He has performed with the great Argentine director Armando Krieger and the acclaimed Spain director Giorgio Paganini.
YETTA MAE HANSELL is a classically trained full lyric soprano who is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has performed operatic roles in “Candide”; “Don Giovanni”; “Gianni Schicci” and the “Mikado” and has performed as soprano soloist for oratorios “The Seven Last Words” and the “Messiah”. Ms. Hansell has performed in various concerts throughout Philadelphia, New York, and the Tampa Bay area. She performed with Mozart n Friends Opera Company, St. Petersburg Opera Company & Opera Tampa.
MICHAEL PRUITT, has spent ten years performing with Opera Tampa under the baton of Maestro Anton Coppola and had the privilege of playing several comprimario roles such as Paris in “Romeo and Juliet”; the Postman in “La Fanciulla Del West”, and Parpignol in “La Boheme”. Michael is proud of his nearly ten years spent performing with the Spanish Lyric Theatre of Tampa, doing everything from Broadway to Cabaret to Zarzuela.
A young spinto tenor from Sonora, Mexico, GUILLERMO LOPEZ has been hailed as one of the promising voices in Mexico and the United States. He has participated as a soloist in international festivals including Alfonso Ortiz Tirado in Alamos and in the Opera “Illegal Alien” by the Mexican composer Alfonso Molina as Federal Officer Ramon Juarez. He has sung with the Sonora Orchestra in “Don Pasquale” as Ernesto; and “La Traviata” as Alfredo with The University of Arizona Philharmonic Orchestra.
FRANCO RIOS CASTRO is a young Peruvian Bass Baritone. Mr. Rios Castro has been part of the National Choir of Peru, participating in Five Opera seasons. He worked with Opera Tampa on their last production of Don Giovanni, as part of the chorus, and as the cover of Masetto. This summer Mr Rios Castro will be singing the role of Sarastro in Savannah VOICE Festival in Georgia for The Voice Experience Festival directed by Sherril Milnes.
